Comments by "" (@tommurphy4307) on "Is Cheap Grease better than Lucas Red N Tacky? Let's find out! Bearing Grease Test Episode 1" video.
sounds like a dura-lube or dyna-lube testing machine.
3
henry's trailers- specializing in trailers that are used in saltwater- uses only a proprietary red semi-synthetic distributed by bush brakes of national city, ca. red n' tacky is a very similar lubricant.
3
go to a boat trailer specialist and ask what they use.
2
yeah- can you see if i already screwed up by using brand X??
1
their beer sucked
1
absolutely not- the red stuff from lucas is a semi-synthetic grease that won't contaminate brake linings and has superior heat-resistance and film-strength under extreme pressure. any grease can shed water and the tackiness is directly related to corrosion resistance. don't try to save money on lubricants- they are the cheapest part of the equation....

i use shell's red grease on all my salt water trailers
1
not the best choice for boat trailers
1
use sprayon's military-grade weapons oil on all weapons
1
then why do you want to see it tested?
1
its actually the smaller brands that are often harder to live up to....
1
see my above comment on corrosion resistance
1
shell makes a highly-regarded red grease, too
1
very smart guy
1
you can get good red semi-synth grease from bush brakes in national city- and it can come in a one-pounder
1
joe will have congress look into that....
1
@seanerobertson32 i guess you scared it away...
