there is no such thing as 'WELDING GAS'- it could have been a number of particular substances
2
prolly one of the first tests they performed....
1
drug manufacturing- no one will admit it but it happens a lot
1
it was definitely a gas explosion and the utility said the gas system was still operable. that means somebody brought flammable stuff into the structure in closed container(s) and released it/them inside the structure. thats exactly what happened. very likely the instigator died in the blast. sorry, but thats what the evidence points to.
1
nonsense- a lot of people don't know how to safely work with butane or ether- both are widely used in manufacturing drugs OTHER than crystal meth
1
people aren't generally killed by 'fire'- people are often killed from breathing super-heated air.
1
a 30-lb. canister of flammable gas is all it would take to make a bang like that.
1
absolutely
1
at least one of them isn't so innocent....
1
i believe the intention was to report that natural gas from the utility was ruled out. we all saw the vid- that was definitely the result of ignition of a flammable liquid or gas.
1
not if the majority of the gas was in the basement. that looked exactly like a basement propane explosion.
1
also youre wringing your hands.....
1
people misusing or mishandling flammable/inflammable gases
1
ya gotta watch out for the very pretty young ones......
1
because utility-supplied natural gas contains an odorant and that stuff is easily detectable even after it has been ignited. not the' whole inside'- just the basement is sufficient. a pilot lighting off a gas burner or a piezoelectric igniter could do it.
1
sounds like bullshit to me
1
too much percussion and fire for an implosion
1
it had to have been flammable or inflammable STUFF that somebody brought in closed containers.
1
gas wasn't ruled out- NATURAL gas was ruled out. if it was a natural gas explosion- the remnants of the odorizer would be present.
1
your chefs...... @mr.monitor.
1
its not volatile on its own- it can act as an oxidizer with other contaminants. with a fireball like that- rest assured it was some type of liquid or gas explosion.
