  6. if youre gonna turn the key and drive, you want the 82-3 280ZX turbo GL mtm (non-digital)- hard to find may have to go to Cali or Canada. if youre gonna build a Z- the 79 280ZX Canada (sport/function model) is the one to have, but they are very rare. 2-seater for street: 4-seater for the track (>wheelbase/cornering). most importantly, you need to know your Nissan stuff- like swaps, mods, and part numbers. transmissions and final drives from later Z's (Z31/Z32). been there- done that. trans and diffs fit the 510/610's, as well. they're a lot of fun, too. Especially when blowing off a Z-car (used to love the looks on their faces). mission blvd. see you there, someday. a lot of guys have built really nice Z's from 74's like yours. As a driver in a high-speed road situation, you would LOVE the early 4-seaters.

  11. you don't just blow these motors- you need to get the maxima diesel crank and build a REAL motor, THEN give her a blowey right thru her triple 50's. now THATS a z car.
