and, yet, the best cadillacs have chevy V8's in them.....
3
wrong- any detected leakage means quarantine and rehabilitating the earth before any subsequent use can take place- do some homework.
2
@TheEvilmooseofdoom simple solution- periodic soil and percolation testing. by the time the current procedures detect the presence of hydrocarbons in the soil- its too late to rehabilitate the site economically.
2
theyre not going to build more gas stations if there isn't a demand for it- even oil company brass knows the rules of supply and demand.
2
charging lithium batteries in the presence of thousands of gallons of gasoline- WHAT COULD GO WRONG??
2
just hold that thought while we pull away from a stoplight in my '70 Stage1....
2
they need dispensaries so they'll be so stoned they won't even mind the price- or the wait.
2
no -its for the pigeons who are waiting for some of the junk food they sell there.
2
we have lots of them in san diego county and many have liquor-selling permits- so theyre not going anywhere.
2
that would be a slap in the face of anybody who ever cruised a deuce-and-a-quarter...
2
don't talk that way about one of your future presidents
2
not on tribal lands- all that goes out the window and they are exempt from one significant tax so they can undersell anybody else in the business. do you have any idea how much it costs to remove underground tanks and do any needed rehabilitation for the surrounding earth? everybody has a great solution until they see the price tag.
2
its not good at all for GM's future
2
no- having EV's shoved down these dealers' throats is not the 'best strategy'- the sales and service structure required will be a lot harder for the lower-volume stores to pay for. this is going to hurt GM in two ways - fewer dealers for their products and the exiled dealers will likely sell competing brands of vehicles in the very same demographic circles- places that used to support these buick dealers. right now, PHEV's are what's trending/selling.
2
in san diego county- our tribal-owned fuel stations undersell costco and their lousy fuel (i test fuel for a local trailer shop) by at least 10 cents per gallon. this new concept won't affect fuel stations that are on sovereign land. we love our 'injun fuel'....
2
they shouldn't allow new gas stations in texas until all the abandoned oil fields in west texas are cleaned up and federally certified as usable land.
1
because the dealers with less volume and fewer resources will have a harder time justifying the required capital investment regarding re-configuring their sales, parts, and service facilities to suit EV's. its as simple as that- money talks, and you-know-what walks.....
1
MAYBE SLEEPY JOE will buy them for all his staff- they wanted them so badly.
1
they look great in the service drive waiting for warranty work
1
ethanol-based fuels will get a reprieve by then. they can't force people to switch to something they don't want. GOOD OLD IOWA CORN!
1
nobody wants to live in a city's 'core' anyway
1
that would be great if people actually wanted to use EVs
1
wouldn't it have been easier and quicker to just type the word 'gas'? the current state of the art is to follow the recommendations of the vehicle manufacturer- your safety and life may be at stake.
1
@joeybulford5266 i believe the commenter intended to post 1 gas pump PLUS 1 charging bib.
1
nissan leafs don't run on milk.....
1
@mistermood4164 really? we build overpriced condo complexes on ours because we need more housing. without adequate housing, 'skyscrapers' are useless.
1
send em to southern california- we've got lots of chinese migrants who need a car. it'll be a SURE HIT
1
BTW- there are LOTS of non-GMC buick stores across the country- just so you know. many of these such dealers are applying for the buyout.
1
@metricstormtrooper they would have to have a 'charging break/ cease-fire'....
1
then call the indian tribes 'silly' because they are building new fuel stations on sovereign land up and down the state. sorry to disagree with you, but electric vehicles are not the answer.
1
the production of electric vehicles is more detrimental to our environment than gasoline-fueled cars. i know taking in the 'big picture' can be daunting...
1
the auto-drive functions as well as touch-screens will be regulated when they become popular enough to become dangerous. get em while theyre hot.
1
how many times do we have to bail the indians out??
1
@halopartiska2 more like 1890- a lot of people had cars in 1905.
1
@steven4315 is that right? well, let's see you find some 'home use' coal in california... maybe amazon can hook you up.
1
that provides a great distraction while youre freezing your ass off.
1
i agree. don't come here to be homeless like everybody else has.
1
if you want some of that, just get an EV
1
@ronin4580 it depends on the charger- regardless- its going to take much longer than filling a tank with fuel
1
really? you know of people who actually don't regret buying EVs?? its stupid idea thats being shoved down our throats. ELECTRIC VEHICLES ARE NOT THE ANSWER
1
anybody know if the ship full of EV's in europe is still on fire?
1
@jimthain8777 whats next- if the chargers are broken atthe grocery- they will be forced to give people gift cards for free food?? clear the fog from your brains, people
1
how nuclear of you!
1
the most expensive california county is santa clara. marin county is third-most expensive county behind san mateo- just keep voting blue and see where it gets you.
