  5. no- having EV's shoved down these dealers' throats is not the 'best strategy'- the sales and service structure required will be a lot harder for the lower-volume stores to pay for. this is going to hurt GM in two ways - fewer dealers for their products and the exiled dealers will likely sell competing brands of vehicles in the very same demographic circles- places that used to support these buick dealers. right now, PHEV's are what's trending/selling.

  6. because the dealers with less volume and fewer resources will have a harder time justifying the required capital investment regarding re-configuring their sales, parts, and service facilities to suit EV's. its as simple as that- money talks, and you-know-what walks.....

  10. BTW- there are LOTS of non-GMC buick stores across the country- just so you know. many of these such dealers are applying for the buyout.
