  1. Current climate trends are making Central European farming less productive though. Solar irradiation isn't changed by the climate (except for cloud cover), but water distribution is. France and Germany are not better off getting drier than they currently are. France has been really perfect for agriculture up until now.

  2. Mankind can certainly prevail, but the problem is surviving the fast approaching speedbump without devolving into chaos. I can't imagine what massive numbers of climate refugees would do to Europe, the Maghreb and the Levant.
