  3. In any so-called "alliance" the United States Government always want to be the dominant party. India's world position as a free, independent decision-maker will be greatly undermined by its plans to ally itself with the United States. The United States always calls the shots and dictates to others, including its "partners". And since the United States seeks the destruction of both, Russia and China, the Indian government will be self-forced to make a choice between pleasing the United States and its selfish, egotistic, imperialistic geopolitical interests or India's own interests. A detrimental move by India that will also undermine its favorable position as a member of the BRICS group and the SCO. Also, India's economic and energy sector relations with Russia will be negatively impacted. It is a step backwards for India from benefitting by true world multiplurality.
