An India-United States "alliance" may undermine India's favorable position within the BRICS group and the SCO, and turn India into another puppet of the United States since it is the United States that always calls the shots and dictates to others. India's profitable economic and energy sector relations with Russia can also be negatively impacted, Remember, the United States want nothing less than the total destruction of both, Russia and China, and will never accept otherwise. By India doing this so-called "balancing act" it is in danger of going too far. An India "alliance" with the United States will sooner than later prove to be detrimental to India's free, independent decision-making and "freedom of movement" and national interests. The United States Government always "subjugates" its "partners", and India may not be the exception.
