Putin's "piece-meal" counterstrikes against Ukrainian military and infrastructure targets in Ukraine show a hesitant, overcautious Putin and a hesitant, overcautious Russian Ministry of Defense leadership. Perhaps that was one of Progozhin's legitimate complaints against Russian military leaders and against Putin himself before he died. In real war, overcaution and hesitansy are never a option. Putin's clear indecision and hesitansy are inexcusable, always waiting for Ukraine to strike Russian targets first in order for him to order counterstrikes instead of he taking the initiative to go on the offensive. In that respect the Ukrainian armed forces are definitely bolder, more daring and agressive than Putin himself. And that is happening with the undeniable fact in mind that the Russian Federation's Armed Forces are many times superior, stronger and more powerful than the Ukrainian ones. It is not the first time Putin fails badly as far as not attacking Ukrainian targets is concerned. Maybe this recent blow to the Russian Federation's Naval Forces by Ukraine, although not devastating, WILL FINALLY WAKE PUTIN AND THE RUSSIAN MILITARY LEADERSHIP UP and jolt them into action. A lesson Putin SHOULD learn.
