  3. Congratulations on the 4 million subs!!! I applaud you for going to places that most people would intentionally avoid. I have seen the beauty in these countries as well as fear in your videos, the common denominator in all of them is how wonderful the people are. Despite that, I have no intention of visiting any of the horrible countries on our planet, if I were younger, perhaps. Have a wonderful time on the South pole!

  5. The Omo Valley looks beautiful! Those tribes are amazing and it's cool that they have kept their traditions for so long, it's just a shame that mutilation is involved. We (all of your viewers) are very grateful for you, your wife and your crew! Thank you so much for showing us cultures that we would never know about if it weren't for you.

  6. I have the utmost respect for Miriam, she is amazing. I can't imagine the things that she went through when first married to a man so much older than her own father and not having her mother to talk to. The fact that she has been such a good mother to all of her children is remarkable. A GoFundMe for her children's schooling would do wonders for that family and at least for many months out of the year she wouldn't have to work quite so hard. To see all of them smiling is so heartwarming!

  7. Very cool that you gave the country a second chance and found it better than before. Everyone seems so nice and welcoming and helpful, but Regina and her village were just wonderful. She has such a hard life and loves it, has no complaints just being happy with what she has, amazing. Thank you for returning and showing us this beautiful country.

  9. I have family in PA and there was a Mennonite family across the street from my grandma's house in a subdivision. I never interacted with them, just a wave if I caught one of them outside so I don't know about their life. Your video is very interesting and I think that as with the Amish, there are variations within the Mennonite religion. For example, the family I had seen had three children and didn't live on a farm. Thank you for continuing to showcase tribes of humanity that most of us have no knowledge of!

  10. Munho is so brave and very interesting! I hope that someday he can speak to his family. Nice tour of Seoul and I find it exciting that there are N Korean restaurants and karaoke bars there which makes it nice for all of the others who have escaped to have a small connection to home.

  12. The stories/people you tell us about are always fascinating, this being no exception. "Jesus" is quite a character indeed, and as long as he does no harm (no Jonestown or Waco stuff) then at least he is harmless. He seems to give people hope and there is nothing wrong with that.

  14. Yes, my perspective of Iran has changed! For some reason, Amin reminds me of Anthony Bourdain. They drink their tea so hot, wow. Everyone was so kind and sharing, and the culture is interesting. I love your 17 wacky things about Iran. The women at the end of the video, I just can't, thank you for including them, they are so brave. 😥My perspective has changed a bit less than I thought it had.

  15. Wow, this is a lot to take in. First, I'd like to reiterate that I appreciate you showing us places that we wouldn't normally see or know about. After watching this video I just feel sad. Builder Bill said he's got nowhere else to go which I will take as a statement that speaks for the majority of people who live there, I can't imagine that woman raising kids out there. Yes, the people there have friends and the woman who got you coffee said that there is always something to do but the place feels lonely to me.

The president of Palau was so nice and looks out for his people, all countries should have presidents like him. Thanks for highlighting these 14 countries and the dramatic horrible effects that climate change has on our planet.

  21. Such poverty is so heartbreaking. The children growing up in those circumstances, not being afraid, living with hearing gunshots regularly, it's not right. They have no school, no medical or dental care, and they just keep going, it's amazing. The adults staying busy, not giving up, I don't know how they do it. That country needs a president, one that is not corrupt, but that won't happen. They do need someone to set things right. I'm glad that you got back to your hotel safely, that is a frightening place. Many nice people, but frightening.

  23. Wow, this is so very hard for me to take in. His may be an ancient practice which may be accepted there but I find it revolting. I appreciate that you chose to show us something that is generally not known to the public at large but it saddens me that it is still practiced in this day and age, and at least in this city, out in the open. I hope that you felt better soon after taking the meds that the doctor prescribed.

  24. I don't personally understand the whole theory of the rats being the family of a reincarnation of that woman or the worship of them. The temple looks filthy, some of the rats have sores on them, and no, I would not drink that milk. I find the entire thing quite disgusting. That being said, as long as they are not hurting anyone, people can worship any way that they want to if it brings them peace.

  27. No, I don't believe her. A person cannot go more than four days without water or three to four weeks without food. She must be good at fasting or just pulling a fast one, no clue about her motive but my first thought is that it is something mental. Why doesn't Guinness know about her if she's for real?
