@russellcarey2430 If the cheap Russian gas came at the cost of a neighboring country's conquest/annexation, then yeah. Also Russia's gas sales and gas prices has plummeted. Not entirely, mind you, but it has.

@pepperonish Nice attempt at gaslighting, acting as if NATO forced Russia to invade or for Ukrainians to fight. Do you also blame the Allies for the Nazis invading Poland?
3
@pepperonish Then why are you complaining about NATO "fueling a war" when Russia started it in the first place and NATO is helping Ukraine when they wanted the help? I don't understand.

@pepperonish You do realize that optics matter a lot, right? Putin losing all occupied land in days is different to Putin slowly losing while claiming Western mercenaries were smashing into Russian lines over time. Let him claim that tens of thousands of NATO mercenaries are dying as their glorious army defends the motherland; as long as it keeps the insane nuclear option at bay. Not that I entirely agree with this line of logic; but a lot of people seem to agree with it, so...that seems to be the policy we're rolling with. Seriously, it's been less than a year. Vietnam held in 20 years. Chill out.

@bobanmeijer Eastern Europe is almost entirely in NATO, genius. The only sheep here is you, who would throw countries under the bus so that your master can conquer. At least be honest with your fascist BS.

@pepperonish Again, do you blame the Allies for fueling the Nazi invasion of Poland? Do you blame the Chinese/Soviets for fueling the Vietnam War? Why is it only the West that "fuels wars" while everyone else gets off scot-free?
1
@pepperonish The idea is that Russia is insane, so giving Ukraine everything would drive the insanity up to 11 to the point that they'd use nukes on Ukraine. Seriously, do you not remember how much people were scared of Putin using nukes?
1
@pepperonish Sounds nice until you consider that the psycho in the Kremlin might want to prove how tough of a guy he is by using the nuclear option. Again, I don't necessarily agree with it, but dismissing it out of hand isn't something a responsible government can do.

@pepperonish I really hope you don't think that's a good idea when the entire country of Russia is what lost its mind, not just Putin. Former President Medvedev literally calls the US satanist and multiple Russian politicians call this a "holy war".
