 @RushOrbit Birth rates is among the highest in the West to begin with. Maybe it is an issue, but relative to Europe the US is doing great in this field. Which is the topic.

 v_for_vercis US didn't want this war. US is expending resources in Ukraine it would prefer to spend in Taiwan; Russian fascist insanity led to this war.

 @noahjohnson935 Paying back debt is ALWAYS going to be popular. And 99% of debtors can pay it back; they just prefer to pay it slowly rather than in a large installment.

 @noahjohnson935 In wages and such the US is still doing better than everyone else. If that is decline, then the world has collapsed already.

@noahjohnson935 If it's that bad to begin with that interest makes it impossible to pay it down, then that's their own fault. You need to seriously screw up to get to that point.

@noahjohnson935 That "crappy economy" is amongst the best in the world, genius. At a certain point, the issue lies in how greedy Muricans are. That being said, their greed is now a public concern -but let's not dodge how its THEIR fault to begin with. I suggest giving them larger taxes in exchange for bailing them out for their debts. Of course there's more to it, but that does seem to be the crux of the issue.
