@kamui_harusame Nobody thinks the CCP jails people who complain about the government. People think that Chinese self-censor so that their complaints don't lead to more difficulties down the road due to "anti patriotic feelings". Most tyrannies don't literally just arrest you; they just make dissidents' lives very difficult and deflect the issue to foreign powers all the time.

Why is it that gross practices from other countries is just "news" but anything negative about China is just "anti-Chinese propaganda"? That says far more about you than anything else, tbh.

@al201103 Bruh, the point of media coverage is in regards to catch people's attention. The "Western media" is far more harsh on their own countries than they ever can be onto China. What you perceive as a "strong anti-China bias" is literally every day media talk for places like the US. So all your complaints is based on a nationalist skew; the need for validation even if it was based on propaganda. Nobody ever talks about the US positively in the news, and its not because the world has an anti-American bias either. Meanwhile, in places like China, the state media constantly toots their own horn in regards to internal projects and advancements and doing the same for CCP allies abroad. But there is never a positive word for those the CCP considers enemies. I'm sorry, but when placed in context, it isn't anti-China propaganda you should be worrying about, but instead pro-China propaganda. Be a little more critical about your country like the Americans are before you can even begin to cry about anti-China propaganda.
