That's not wrong though. Wealth in Europe was growing before colonialism and it was Europe's capacity to even colonize far away lands that made it possible. Put simply; nobody else had the capacity to colonize like Europe did. Not to say that Europe didn't massively benefit from cheap foreign resources and exploitation.

@Dragon-mv6vy This my surprise you, but immigration to the US even amongst other first world countries is relatively high. Prolly has to do with easily making money if you have a useful skill.

@gamermapper Most spoken language in America is English, with Spanish coming up. That being said, in terms of growth; pushing a more united market is the only way for the EU to begin to maintain its GDP share of the world economy like the US has. Also idk what that shot about indigenous people was? Like I hope you realize it was Europeans that genocided the Natives before the US was even a concept, right?

Does that really matter? Many corporations were already doing the 1 Euro = 1 USD thing for years now; so if anything the consumers just caught up.
