@Thetruthhurts The death count of any US war is very highly documented due to US democratic practices; it counts those who died directly from US actions and those killed by US INACTION as well. That means that those that died from anything, including those that were killed by terrorist groups, enemy armies, lack of resources, etc, etc are also counted. If we did the same in any Russian conflict, we'd also reach the 100'000's too. We can't do such a thing because Russia doesn't have democratic practices and often prevents any war correspondents from doing any research. Not to say that the US is entirely transparent as evidenced by WikiLeaks, but it may as well be in comparison. Russia has killed more civilians in this past week alone than the US has in months in many of their conflicts. And yet it has only achieved a few miles in Ukraine despite having air superiority against a nation with barely an air force. It's pathetic.

@kishanchali8752 Considering Ukraine is being invaded and an actual democracy, I'll take their word over anyone else's until some other more trustworthy group comes along. Then I'll take their word for it.

@kishanchali8752 Why? It isn't like there is freedom of speech and independent media in Russia that will find more accurate numbers; who will give accurate numbers then?

Imagine comparing being fired for supporting an invasion on a nation that Russia denies has a right to exist to disappearing, jailed, or dying for protesting or trying to spread news not falling in line with the Kremlin. It's really pathetic how you contrast the literal shitshow that is Russia to actual democracies.

@bigbro5793 You can cry that they're puppets all you want; but they both act and are quite independent. By your logic, Russia is a puppet too -to China seeing as they're begging for China's aid.
