Not sure why the US government shouldn't be fighting in WW2 after literally being attacked, but okay.

Well, the US since like the early 20th century had laws that forced people to get vaccinated, so apparently in your eyes, the US has been tyrannical since then.

@JCDenton3 You realize that the Blackwater organization and the vaccine thing are two entirely different beasts, right? For one thing, Blackwater did actually have a LOT of limitations on what it could do, it just had far less oversight; and democracies are meant to keep leaders in check at home, it has nothing to do with oversight abroad. France's actions in West Africa which are VERY anti-democratic to this day has nothing to do with France's democratic process at home. As for vaccines, well that has far more to do with the type of President in office, and was not the usual US President's modus operandi. So these examples are either extreme (the latter) or just flat-out doesn't matter for democratic practice (the former).

@nomayor1 Might wanna look up USSR vs US GDP growth over time, then. The USSR was never catching up to the US, and it slowed down over time. You "theory" makes no sense, even if we work from the idea that the gold standard is...the gold standard.
2
@JCDenton3 Yeah, I can relatively agree with that. It seems no matter the ideology, the wealthy and intellectual tends to look down their noses against the poor.
2
Well, it missed its big chance against BLM riots and the Trump riot in the Capitol. So kinda doubt it.

@nomayor1 The gold standard is archaic and useless in the modern interconnected economy. Idk why you're acting like the USSR's growth was even keeping up with the US tbh.

@Moi E.C. I mean, to be honest, that's your dream that will likely not happen in our lifetime. So keep dreaming, friend; it's a dream that has never come to pass for centuries no matter how much they wished it lol
1
@nomayor1 People have been unironically saying this for over a century. Keep wishing it for centuries longer, and you'll get it right eventually, I'm sure. That being said, no, the US doesn't "pay" for internal propaganda. It has private corporations spew their opinions instead, which goes from praising to shitting on anything the US does depending on the political party. Not really the same thing.

@TheCimbrianBull He'd hate it, but he can't call in the tanks...at least not without getting the US government annoyed like: "Hey! That's my thing!"
