@pimplejuice US wasn't exactly the reserve currency at the time, my guy. What braindead logic is this? 😂

@pimplejuice As long as a country is very powerful economically; it's issues will become the world's issued by default. Your hypocrisy is self evident.

@keith6371 Oof, Russian Ruble is suffering mass inflation now. Your post aged very poorly 🤣

Because it isn't declining. It has remained the same since 2008 when the Eurozone was badly hurt; only the Euro cut into USD dominance. No one else.

@chris0000924 Gold/silver has been replaced by a reason, and not even the USD's most fierce advocates have ever tried using gold or silver. Mostly because it's a brainlet move.

@chris0000924 1) Nixon realized that maintaining gold standard was hindering the States, so threw it out. Notice how no other country uses gold standard now? 2) Uh, Russia's Ruble isn't pinned to gold or silver, my guy. More than that, the Ruble is currently suffering heavy inflation atm.

At no point did the US "start wars" to keep itself afloat. US did not start the Ukraine War anymore than Russia and China started the Vietnam War.

...So nothing changes, then? Use of local currency for trade has always been a thing. 😅

@darthvadeth6290 Nobody likes you guys because you tend to support genocidal fascists and Marxists in your "anti-imperialist" crusades. It's a trend.

It only decreased because of the Euro. Outside of that, it has remained consistent. And no, BRICS can't "break" the petrodollar. Mostly because it doesn't really exist as conspiracy nutjobs imagine it to.

It will be more than possible, wut? Besides it's mostly imperialist states that are crying about this anyway; they want the right to conquet their neighbors again.

It's August. It aged very well, as the Ruble sinks deep into the mud.
