At no point where men humble or stoic as a whole. That being said, it says something that to tolerate this, men need to effectively hole themselves up emotionally and be silent.

@abraxasjinx5207 "Personal growth" for the sake of people that l o a t h e you is hilariously tone deaf.

Its happening everywhere in the West. What happens to the US is a prelude to what happens to Europe as a whole, politically speaking.

@pathnottookforkintheroad Buddy, not even a YT dude, but your attitude is exactly why so many men, even non-YT, are turning against that political philosophy. All demands for "listening" and refusing to listen.

@Cronee333 OP already admitted that he's numb to it, that's not smart or rational, but instead more akin to taking the emotional dmg quietly.

Or maybe the world and everyone else has already been dmged, but you didn't notice because you benefitted from it.

How does one "work on that" when that's up to the system and institutions? What, should they work extra jobs to support their own education now? Pull themselves up by their bootstraps maybe?

It's more that you don't have the power to do it, and scream that men, that do have that power, should emulate it. Men held themselves back, and see no reason to hold back anymore. Or maybe that's just a cynical reading of both sides on the aisle?

Might be easier for the working class to do that if the reigning leftists didn't villainize the working class men all the time.

@clairee4939 There are a lot of assumptions of how people think or act all around that could do with more patience and empathy, tbh.

@oldishandwoke-ish1181 Yeah. As per usual however, women are allowed and expected to do whatever they want, while men are expected to "grow up" and stoically handle whatever comes their way. Too bad for you, they are finally saying enough is enough and expect to be heard.

@Cauldron6 Individualism is the new paradigm, and its expected that women don't change for men, but at the same time that men change for women. I suppose that its this concept that is leading to the frustration.
