@militaristaustrian Russia is not a Superpower, first of all. Secondly; Superpowers need to manage diplomacy as well -and making everyone next to you so afraid that they'd risk an invasion by joining a defensive alliance is an abysmal failure of diplomacy. Russia has no one to blame but themselves.

@QuadroVF In contrast to a bully attacking them regardless by making up a BS reason without the aid of the bigger bully, like what happened with Ukraine? Also, the pointing of inviting the "bigger bully" is to make sure the eastern bully understands that trying to hit Finland will be far more costly than otherwise. But you know that, you're just mad that Russia can't bully Finland so easily if its in NATO.

@GiuseppeDeLuca-hd8mu Russia invaded before Ukraine ever considered joining NATO. It invaded after Ukraine wanted to join the EU. You're like a wife beater complaining that the other dude wouldn't beat their wife if there weren't cops nearby LOL

@freezedeve3119 This isn't the 20th century anymore. Modern armies are much smaller than those in WW2; it takes a lot to properly outfit a soldier for combat, as well as have the means to prepare them for their roles with proper equipment, vehicles, and know-how.

@a.oshankar8741 They sent 80% of their active military to Ukraine. Their "tons of reserves" can't be called up without a lot of logistical issues, especially since they are already having major logistical issues.

@prizefighter8699 US is also protecting most of the world's democracies while preventing other imperialists from invading them. Meanwhile people like you blame anything on the CIA or whatever even if you have no actual reason to do so. If a dictator says that protestors were from the CIA, people like you then unironically believe them. Bootlickers all.

@dmitriisheroshenko2566 As if Russia needs a reason to justify a war. It'll just make a reason, or claim its for "security reasons" by default. It doesn't matter; Russia doesn't give a crap.
