America respects the human rights of black Americans more than Africans respect the human rights of Africans to begin with. Also; that isn't even an argument -that's just deflection. US can do better for black Americans and Africans can handle the black hole of human rights that is the African continent.

Eh, it ain't like African states are apologizing for their hateful histories, are paying any reparations, or are even bothering to stop being hateful against minorities. So this comment makes little sense.

Has way more to do with powerful countries getting more respect and privileges than anything else; President Obama got the same privileges. There is no more powerful privilege than American privilege.

Blacks were defeated and the warriors were sold in accordance to the rules of war in West Africa by the other African Kingdoms of the region; never stolen, though they were enslaved. Latinos are just the descendants of the defeated Andean civilizations intermixed with whites and blacks; the same people generally oppressed and treated as slaves in the Encomienda System of Spain and the unofficial mistreatment for many generations afterwards. Every group to an extent was oppressed at one point or another.

@maiervin7946 I am a Afro-Hispanic. I have faced more discrimination from blacks than whites in my life; and I don't believe that as an excuse to dismiss an entire group unlike the people of this channel. Be better. If not for everyone's sake, then for the sake of your own; Hispanics will be the majority soon, and they won't be anywhere near as kind to blacks interests as whites are. It's an unfortunate fact that majorities in power don't cater to minority issues. The States are far better than most about it.

@daniellanabs9144 US has a massive abundance of natural gas. It's quite literally selling a bunch to Europe as we speak. And the US considered stepping in, but has no will to do so; so the question is whether the US will start kicking out any Haitians that try to reach the US escaping the crisis.

@TWLogik No, just American Privilege. Arabs tend to disrespect those of African descent -but mention that you're from the US and those attitudes vanish -nationality has power. Also being biracial doesn't matter; people in the US and outside of it considered Obama to be Black -period, end of story. Cope if you want, but Americans regardless of skin color are universally respected.

Not only would the UN laugh that concept out of the hall, that by itself would be considered ethnic cleansing as the modern generations have nothing to do with the original Native American destruction. I, as a Afro Hispanic, would sooner fight than get kicked out of my home; and it would take a military far bigger than the US' to force that.

Tomasino Romano Slavery was a thing in Africa, but it didn't originate in European colonialism; much of the blacks in the Americas originate from Africans selling slaves to the Europeans for guns and other goods in West Africa. Not that that matters; the concept of reparation won't help anybody nor does it even make sense. Nations brutalize each other all the time.
