mike sixx Well, considering this is a wider issue that crosses Party lines, I don't see how that's relevant.

@feliciawalker3955 Indeed, she stands up for injustice. Not for justice though. She's beyond gross.

@a.m928 For being racist. Cry me a river. That's always been a thing, some people are just being more honest about it now.
2
@saynf Its fair that we vet Israel. But why exactly are we trusting Hamas' claims as fact? Why do you guys love Hamas so much?
2
Bri: "They are bringing a KIDNAPPED CIVILIAN into a hospital -that somehow makes them totally innocent" Comment section: "Yes, this makes sense and isn't in any way disgusting terrorist behavior"

@lisbondiaries9212 He can have a pro-Israel bias. After all, the Hill has a massive pro-Hamas bias to begin with. It evens it out a little bit. That being said, Israel being correct here doesn't mean they are right elsewhere. I know its a strange concept, to have nuance, but its true.

@DearProfessorRF Islamaphobia is generally mistreatment by words or undue suspicion from government officials. Anti-semitism is usually violent. One is far more problematic in the US than the other; that doesn't dismiss the issues Muslims deal with.

@sentbackfrom2084 It's not in their authority to do anything, tbh. Nor would I trust them to do anything. The federal government controls the FBI, NOT local precincts.

@splatter5218 If you're a Trump supporter then you have little logical consistency in that since Trump lowered taxes across the board and made the wealthy wealthier. More importantly, nothing Biden or Trump has done has "taken more away from the people" -so these weird claims are nothing but hyperbole. Nor is Biden doing anything so rash to lead the US to its grave, smart one.

@leviashanken2506 I don't think even Hamas denies that they use a bunch of tunnels underneath civilian infrastructure. They just deny that they have it in this hospital, which has been proven demonstrably false. The "world" (IE: Third World generally) chooses whichever side is against the West is generally aligned to. The "world" also aligned with Russia in slaughtering Ukrainians. That's whom you're aligned with btw.

@cattreeoflife980 Uh, I hope you realize that Progressive beliefs are also out of step with the people. They're Representatives, they don't coincide with the American people. The American people in general are VERY much against illegal immigration, for example, but Progressives are pretty much against that. American people are also VERY much for public healthcare, but the Republicans are against that. Etc, etc.

@lilbfrom094princeton8 1) That makes no sense since BRICS isn't accelerating at all. Its stagnant because none of the member states wants to give each other more power. 2) It didn't accelerate BRICS before either.

@itsme-gm9oi Historically also through Poland and the Baltics. Are you gonna sell them to Rus too?

@eliasvlanton3097 Israel hasn't occupied Gaza for decades, it only has done so recently in reaction to over 1000 civilians murdered or kidnapped. After that, Israel has the right to invade in self-defense. It would be as if Mexico crossed the border and murdered thousands of Americans and you people cry that the US doesn't have the right to respond. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if you guys did that. You lot seem to intrinsically hold Western nations to international laws that don't even exist while not caring what everyone else does.
1
Only way to vet that is to sue them for unconstitutional actions via the Supreme Court. You can't "vet" that normally.

@dominicparadiso5408 And who exactly "speaks up for communities of color"? Who is the spokesperson? Whose ideology coincides with it? There is no universal representative for anything, so telling her to shut up does not equate to telling an entire community to shut up. Al Sharpton is not Cori Bush, and not Louis Farrakhan who others also claim speaks for communities of color. But they all have differing ideologies. And some, pretty much other communities of color like Hispanics like me pretty much reject entirely as only serving the AA community, not mine. So, put blandly, why do YOU get to say who serves your overall community over anyone else? That just isn't how this works.

A bunch of protests broke out across the world effectively in "support" of Palestinians immediately after Oct 7th. This despite Israel not even doing anything in retaliation yet, and suffering an immense tragedy. Idk if that's celebrating, but that's beyond disgusting and proved how many of these "pro-Palestinian" groups just flat out want to see Jews gone. At that point, its fair to consider them pro-Hamas rather than pro-Palestinian.

Not all the way. US didn't want to hurt EU economy too much.

Is that why Putin keeps cr yi ng to have the sanctions removed and why Gazprom is cr yi ng about their loss of billions? 😆

@LauriSuoranta That's...literally how every nation works, genius. Including Russia.
1
@robitsme He offers an opinion that objectively sells out another people for...nothing. Its done for nothing. There is no benefit to anyone except Russia. We can think critically without unironically bending over for foreign im per ial ists.
1
@alostcause4035 They didn't find a command center, true -they did find a cache of weapons, and the tunnels which multiple mainstream outlets claimed didn't exist. Now they're backpeddling and claiming its originally an Israeli tunnel as if Hamas wouldn't use that themselves...its pathetic how much they're coping to protect a terrorist organization bent on genocide.
1
Yeah, and Russia at its height collapsed after 10 years in Afghanistan with 5x the ca su al ty rate lol

@tinygoat2531 I'm surprised he got hit on all 3 due to what occurred prior to the neck choke (he was saying he was choking long before being subdued) but if the forensics agree; then he deserved to go to jail, no question.

@r_ds8057 Calling Israel an apartheid state is being too on the nose of being pro-Hamas. You have to hide the hatred of Jews with stuff like "anti-Zionism". Mind you, you can be anti-Zionist without being filled with genocidal hatred. Its just that a lot of people with that hatred realized that hating Israel is a socially acceptable way to express that. And yes, taking Hamas talking points as facts while always doubting Israeli talking points is VERY MUCH pro-Hamas. At least be honest that you want genocide instead of dancing around it.

@NavAK_86 What resources? The region is hardly resource-rich. Also, to be blunt, Israel didn't really have a choice since Gaza has not once ever stopped throwing missiles at Israel.
