@Антрацит-й3л So what? Allowing Australia to get thrifted by France is proof of independence? Maybe licking up anyone that ISN'T the US is proor? Because France blew up this deal by exponentiinally blowing up the price and many provisions, and ir was Australia that sought an out and approached the British for it. If anything the US was just chilling and didn't push for anything. But you see "US and AU deal" and must think it's all just vassal stuff, huh?

@math3148 British approached the Americans, not vice-versa. No matter how French try to argue this; this was something CAUSED by the UK at Australia's reqeust. NOT pre-meditated by the US.

@chrisbuesnell3428 More like the French refuse to admit they got messed up by the British who they have pushed are just a backwater now. It's about French bruised ego than anything else. It's sad really.

@math3148 All things considered, thr French literally don't know anything because they're totally ignorant, yes. This was a big deal for Australia who never shut up about it, but French news only ever talked about this as a done deal. Now French leaders have to hode how much they screwed up by massaging bruised egos. Your propaganda doesn't work against those that actually bothered to listen to both sides. And thr French are only right in that someone needed to tell them. Everything else is French arrogance.

@Антрацит-й3л By literally every definition of the word; Australia is independent. Idk what world you live in where that's not the case. Take your meds, seriously.

@Антрацит-й3л I am relaxed, more confused at this ludicrous line of thinking. Is nobody but the US, China, and Russia independent since every other country relies on them for something or another? It's kinda absurd to think that way/
