@ruzaki1212 The EU tried to ignore ideology and just bank on working with Russia economically. Russia BTFO'd that idea, and in fact is the prime reason as to why the EU is in the mess it is in now.

US really won that geopolitical starter zone in that regard.

That all sounds great right until other nations can casually bully yours because your influence, economic weakness, and technological stagnation makes you an easy target.

@sencoptico Suffice it to say, the same can easily be said for much of the EU. That's why we have statistics, and this pesky thing called HDI. And the story remains the same with the US retaining high living standards while growing far more quickly than the EU. This kind of European copium is why the EU is lagging behind so much to the US.

@cowboybeboop9420 A lot of these are massive exaggerations, but there is some truth to the fact that the US isn't doing as great as it should be with its economy. That also doesn't change the fact that the EU is doing miserably in contrast even when considering that. In terms of migration, Europeans are moving to the US, not vice-versa.
1
@cowboybeboop9420 No, you're letting online memes paint your absurd biases. Everything you pointed out is already calculated in the HDI studies, and the US generally surpasses most of the EU nations in terms of living standards. And again, far more Europeans move TO the US than vice versa.

@rickbhattacharya2334 What blind support? Germany tried to maintain close trade relations with Russia despite US warnings. If anything the US bailed Germany out in spite of its anti-US foreign policy.

@shangtsung88 Maintaining Nordstream when Russia is invading another European country and has literally tried to blackmail you is the epitome of cu ck ed behavior to begin with.

@FootSoldierGD Ask them about Russian actions in South America while you're at it, it tends to be much worse. Spare us, Rusbot.

You say that as if people haven't made braindead decisions born of fear all the time.

Decreasing regulations too much allows for heavy corruption, fraud, and bad practices to grow. China's bad construction policies is because of no regulations. Bad idea.

@mysterioanonymous3206 If the EU bans US corporations like that for funsies, then its looking at a massive trade war with the US that it will likely lose. That's literal in sa ni ty.

Uh, no, populism is a dirty word still. And the US still does give heed to some of the stuff you're referring to; just not as much, to its benefit to a certain extent.
