No, if a nuclear attack occurred in any NATO state, the US would respond in kind simply for the fact that letting Russia get away with that would set a precedence that Russia can nuke US allies for no cost. More than that; it would destroy US credibility in the eyes of its allies.

  2. I agree if not for one fact that this conflict has taught me -that Russia doesn't give a crap about their soldiers' lives. Russia can throw tens of thousands of men at the meat grinder and they'd pour more in just for the sake of destroying the enemy. I have no doubt that the likes of Estonia can hold the line, but the sheer volume of troops mixed with the lack of care of their own casualties makes Russia uniquely situated to do immense damage to the infrastructure of the likes of Estonia in a war.
