@muhamedhjiri7619 Americans generally have a dim view of France's definition of freedom of speech, yeah. Though OP seems to be using France's own logic as an excuse to bash people.

"democracy, abolition of slavery, emancipation of women and ethnic minorities" France literally started none of these things. Other countries/peoples did them first and France is jealous enough to take the credit. Modern democracy? Netherlands and US did it first. Abolition of slavery? France reneged on it multiple times and continued it in its colonies. The Brits made more of an effort to end global slavery while most of the Americas ended slavery without using colonies from far away as slave labor. Emancipation of women? New Jersey in 1776 did it first but reneged, then Norway did it permanently in 1913. British Commonwealth countries did it ala New Zealand/Australia and the US. France was actually LATE in this and did it as late as 1944. Ethnic minorities? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah, no. France gets no credit for any of this.

@Mrsmile-by3oi Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from other people using their free speech to screw you over, bruh. You can't give a N@zi salute online and stop people from contacting your work place informing them of what you did and getting you fired. That's THEIR freedom of speech too.
