@On_The_Piss Hypocritical logic. 2 centuries is effectively no difference 2 millennia for the usurpation of nation, land, and culture. The indigenous people that used to rule the land are indigenous only by name; no longer in effect. Being of that ethnic group doesn't make them special nor can exceptions be made lest the society fracture based on inequalities formed viscerally by government. Inequalities formed quietly by individuals having racist views are bad enough, compounding more obvious inequalities even to rectify it are controversial for a reason. It's no surprise pretty much no sane society does such a thing. It's extremely counter-productive and needlessly crippling to social cohesion. May as well be blunt and admit you want to suppress non-indigenous Chileans rather than this.
