@markusberzborn6346 Oh yes, Russia trying to steal territory from other countries is toooootally something they'd neeeever do, amirite? It isn't like they've done this repeatedly for the past decade or something? Russian nationalism doesn't need to make sense; all they care about is feeling powerful by conquest. Which is why everyone has every right to smash their armies when they try it yet again. Russia should consider themselves lucky that the West are so reasonable and haven't tried to play the same game and jump into Ukraine themselves.

@dmitrijsiljucenoks9690 According to all international studies, the US is a democracy unlike a certain gas station dictatorship I know. So idk what movies have to do with it.

@slimlucas888 Oh, so Kosovo did not have a referendum that voted for independence long before NATO got involved? Is that really the hill you want to die on? Fact is this; NATO didn't take Kosovo -Kosovo tried to free itself but Serbs refused and NATO stepped in due to Serb actions prior being too genocidal to permit any longer. The West gave the Serbs every opportunity to stop, but they refused.

james Deer Idk, why would Russia steal territory from Ukraine despite its high approval ratings of Russia and its only intent to be joining the EU in 2014? Russian imperialism doesn't make sense; it's irrational nationalism that promotes irredentism and conquest for national honor. Everything is everyone else's fault, so they can justify anything.

james Deer It doesn't make sense because I'm not a sociopath, actually.

james Deer Hey, you at least admit what you are. Being "intelligent" doesn't mean that you're not a terrible person after all. And sociopaths often have massive arrogant streaks anyway, overestimating themselves. And Putin has done a mighty good job of destroying all of his advantages and throwing his country to the dogs. What happens to Russia in the next few years is their own fault.

james Deer More Russian bodies continue to pile up in Ukraine for almost no gain, buddy.

@heartmind6373 Russia and the USSR before it literally sent tanks to crush protestors and civilians of allied nations. So yes, it literally controls its allies unlike the US.

@marantonio9103 I can see the logic of a crazy abuser beating his ex girlfriend, that doesn't mean that it isn't disgusting and doesn't deserve condemnation.

@JohnCSmith-lp1qr Ah yes. The freedom for opposition leaders to die under mysterious circumstances and for people to get arrested for calling this war...a war. Much freedom. At least in Orwell's 1984.

@polinadmitr2845 Are you seriously comparing actual FREE aid to starving people to literal TRADE??? This is the Russian mindset in a nutshell, huh?
