@tgazhn9295 With your logic is 1M+ Russian troops facing 700k+ Ukrainians... The armies being fielded are not all at once, genius. Ukraine outnumbers Russian troops to be sure, but the amount being fielded is still relatively close in number since Ukraine does not have the capability to maintain so many.

@tgazhn9295 1) That's my point; the deployed troops does not equal to the total armed forces. The 700k+ number is Ukraine's army including in training, reserves, and those actually in combat. 2) Ukraine in many engagements did not have numerical superiority. Ukraine won in Kyiv despite being the one outnumbered for example. 3) Ukraine was one of the weakest nations prior to 2014 while Russia was considered a top 10 military. "Preparing for 8 years" means jack all when Ukraine was and still is considered a joke. It just makes Russia also look like a joke.

@ryanayao6808 Yep. And the USSR, much stronger than Russia is now, failed in 10 years with 3 times the casualties and deaths. Even in the West's failures, Russia looks more pathetic in comparison.

@wealthyman3760 Did you take your meds? What the heck does the US invasion of Iraq have to do with this current conflict in Ukraine??? Also NATO never invaded Iraq or Libya -it invaded Afghanistan though. Try opening a history book for once. Edit: Russia invaded Georgia, Chechnya, and Libya too anyway.

@StevenWJRichards Because anyone with 2 braincells can see that no genocide was ongoing in Ukraine prior to Russian invasion, and that they still had decent minority rights, and they had a freaking Jewish President. All while Russia, who cries about fascists in Ukraine's military also has fascists in their military. Wow, it's almost like anyone can use common sense to figure out that an imperialist country constantly using BS excuses to invade is using another BS excuse to invade again. Are you also gonna ask whether I have proof that Poles weren't mass killing Germans prior to the Nazi invasion as well? Because that's your level of questioning right now.

@StevenWJRichards I never once disputed that Ukraine has a large Russian population, I disputed the idea that Russia is waging war to defeat some sort of Nazi menace within Ukraine. Also, just because peoples are of similar cultural origin doesn't suddenly mean you get to invade or attack them and claim you're "helping" them. If the US invaded Canada tomorrow, I'd say the same damn thing -it is a BS war for imperialism. Also, there was no law that forced people to speak Ukrainian. The Russian language faced a backlash after the first imperialist invasion of Russia in 2014, so obviously people are gonna be mean spirited. No law though. There was a law that forced schools to teach Ukrainian, but that's it; which Russia claimed was "genocide", just to prove how much they control public discourse by making loud lies repeatedly to justify their aggression.

Considering the possibility that if Trump was elected that we'd be a dictatorship and Ukraine might have to face even more pressure against Russian imperialism -I'd think that Trump supporters can honestly be labeled as traitors for Russian interests.

A hilarious notion at that since China is pushing against India's influence in the subcontinent itself while Indians continue to suckle Russia and Indians continue to move to the US for better opportunities.
