@intermilan9731 Every word is a fantastical word to describe a reality we live in. Some are better, some are worse; but racism - a word used to describe a prejudice against a group unlike your own, is not a "Western Marxist cultist" idea. It's just an unfortunate reality.

I doubt Japanese would take it so well if people avoided them like that, tho

@Starsalignnow Being attracted to someone really doesn't preclude people to act so brazenly for sex; there are social boundaries for a reason.

"Extremely considerate" looks an awful lot like "culturally accepted xenophobia" in this instance. Not something I ever want to emulate.

@mikeg3439 Which is an excuse to avoid uncomfortable questions. What he calls "disliking specific behaviors" when they generalize foreign groups is literally what racism is. A justification of mistreatment via using a generalization of another group. Treating Japanese people because SOME Japanese people have behaviors I don't like is racism too. Edit: The difference being that Japanese don't avoid other Japanese because they assume all Japanese are "like that", but they do for groups that they associate as "like that".
