@jakeysnakey1880 Caraballo called the Supreme Court illegitimate for being compromised and claimed that harassing them to the point of not giving them a day's rest is their civic duty. That's literal intimidation, even if its not a direct call to violence; it's a criminal action against important members of the democratic system. Basically, if you're against the rise of violence in political discourse, she is a part and parcel of that discourse engendering it. The fact that you tried to defend it informs everyone how little you care about democratic norms.

@jakeysnakey1880 The entire conversation was about fighting against violence and harassment seeking to undermine the Constitution and the Three Branches of Government. Which Caraballo most assuredly did. Pointing out that such extremist language leads to violence is hardly a misrepresentation; it's what people like her literally always say...when it's against the Right. Which is true; decrying elected officials or branches of government as illegitimate literally normalizes violence against them. Nothing about this is a misrepresentation; you're just trying to provide a smokescreen for her.

@ozymandiasramesses1773 I hope you realize that accosting voters was often a tactic used by white supremacist groups to prevent POC from voting, right? Targeted harassment of elected officials is a step higher than that.
