@warcrimeconnoisseur5238 Jesus, wtf? First of all, homeless "dying in the streets" also almost never happens, with nations like Germany having MORE homeless than the US. Idk wtf is up with the whole souls being consumed by corporations thing as corporations are a thing everywhere, and US wars has jack all to do with countries not obeying the US and has far more to do with geopolitical reality. And many nation-states engage in it; if the US engages in it its a problem, but if everyone else does no on cares. This Yank will live a harder life than you, but my nation will survive and prosper far to the future while your nation's legacy will crumble as it grows old, withers in slow growth, and regresses. Have fun with that, if you choose to stay at your current spot; your descendants will likely be smarter.

We have homeless shelters in the US as well; the homeless camps in LA is a specifically LA issue since so many of the US' homeless congregate there and there were not enough homeless shelters. That's not a US-wide issue at all. And again, no; homeless don't really die -there was a homeless dude that stayed homeless and lived for 30 years because he got benefits but chose to remain homeless. It's a thing. Europeans literally screwed over the entire planet multiple times over and you cry about American souls? Really? For the record, if Europeans wanted to kick Americans out, it would have already; European leaders want US muscle. To act in their interests. Europe, as always, wants slaves for their demands for resources and imperialism, and uses the US for this venture. Funny, eh? America is pretty much the only reason Europe is prospering at all. You live precisely because Americans decided it; you prosperity is our fault. You'd rather die than be a beneficiary of the US? Than leave Europe, because your prosperity is our making. From the Marshal Plan, to the defense of Western Europe in NATO, to the pushing and creation of the EU from the European Coal Community, to the advancements since the fall of the USSR. When European powers were trying to prevent Germany from re-uniting in 1991, it was the US that pushed it anyway. Get over yourself.

@dextrane715 Again, the Nordic countries pretty much have the ideal in helping parents raise children affordably, yet they have low birthrates as well. It seems to be a trend after certain human developments and comfort.

@theodorbutters141 1) True, I was just keeping myself succinct when responding to a bigoted commentator, but I shouldn't stoop to that level. 2) The problem is that any interaction between nations has such shady backgrounds as a default. A good example being in Finland, where Swedes and French offerings for their aircraft came with quite a bit of diplomatic pressure while Lockheed Martin did the same. That being said, I think you're overstating things; fact is that building your own military industry is NOT easy, costs a lot of money, and is quite oversaturated with other options. Unless you're determined to build it even if it doesn't come with great returns; it isn't really worth it. For countries like India, Japan, or France? Understandable; they have large enough economies to make it worth it. For smaller countries like Poland? Not really; unless its aimed at a specific industry like Sweden has for aircraft. Besides, the purchase of US military hardware would just replace itself with other European states purchasing of military hardware. NATO and the US being around wouldn't change that. 3) Idk if I agree with your last statement.
