Issue I think is that that is a race to the bottom. If everyone is competing for lower taxes, then eventually companies will be able to get away with little-to-no taxes at all. If anything, a general baseline tax rate should be agreed upon across the planet, imho.

@clerklymantis4661 Absolute poverty in the US doesn't exist, so nobody is "literally dying" from a lack of a wage. The issue is that those who work in minimum wage sometimes need 2 jobs to get a better lifestyle; depending where they lived. Nowhere in the West are there people "literally dying" from too little income. Edit: And people dying from a preventable disease is not "literally dying" either. By this metric, everyone is "literally dying" too. In case you make that argument when it's about as BS and disingenuous an argument that can be made, and no amount of minimum wage can fix.
