@michalisneophytou8645 According to realists, Mearsheimer and his ilk would advocate for couping both Greece and Turkey to maintain the peace, regardless of how they felt. And since Turkey is more important to the geopolitical advantage of the West due to their control over the Bosphorus, it's more important for Greece to be forced into line. But hey, I'm sure you're willing to be thrown under the bus because "peace is more important", right?

@kashewz Russia? A Superpower? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

@CortexNewsService No it wouldn't. Romania engaging in offensive operations does not include NATO; you'd know that if you even marginally understood how NATO worked.

@NewOrleansSeptember None of these places voted out prior to Russian troops entering and forcing the issue, trollbot. I guess foreign troops entering in your town and then making a referendum is considered legal to you, but to civilized people its considered to be illegal.

@NewOrleansSeptember You do realize that Russia has higher crime rate, higher homelessness rate, and higher prices, right? Russia is a joke of a country while the US has some of the highest Human Development Indexes on the planet. Comparing the two is like comparing a gold bar with dirt on the floor -they're not comparable. There's a reason so many Russians immigrate to the US while virtually no Americans ever go to Russia.

@NewOrleansSeptember Indeed, US States cannot become independent, as they signed a contract with the US Constitution in exchange for joining the Union. Bit if those States wanted independent after being brutally mistreated then that should be their right. Meanwhile Russia has intentionally sent troops to force "independence" while crushing their own independence movements inside their country. Russian fascism must be stopped, and I'm all for assassinating Putin and his cronies at this point. Fascists complaining about the nuclear family but then protecting Russian imperialism can get boned.

@mrchoudhury6611 Considering NATO has not attacked Russia or its neighbors, but Russia has actually attacked its neighbors, its obvious that Russia needs to be treated as a mad dog. Also, there was no deployment of nukes right at the Russian border; and Russia has deployed nukes literally right on top of the EU in Kaliningrad. Russian aggression will be stopped, fascist doggies will be stomped into the dirt.

Literally can't as it has border disputes. It could prolly join Romania and get NATO through that tho

@kashewz Prolly not Russia since its military has proven to be a joke due to lack of maintenance and supply issues. That being said, are you 12? Any nation with 1k nukes is gonna be able to destroy the planet, if not in pure destructive power, then due to nuclear fallout. Imagine being this lacking that even common sense from people in the 1970's is something you lack.

Mearsheimer and those like him are "realists" that ultimately see the likes of small countries like Ukraine as objects to be used and thrown away for the sake of big powers. If you live in such "small countries", then be aware that he would advocate for couping and destroying your nation for the sake of the "balance of power".

@dragons_hook Neither did Ukraine. And this is how Russia justifies imperialism; it makes up BS to justify it even if its not true and then makes more enemies for itself when there were none. If Russia collapses tomorrow, nobody would care due to their actions.
