@ Agreed. I said something similar. But I doubt Trump will stop; Congress needs to actually be a legislative body and stop the executive from abusing this power.

@supertal244 They caved, but they will not forget this and will now seek a means to pull away from the US. Likely by working with China in the future. Short-term gain for long-term losses. This could have been accomplished with some diplomacy, but instead the US is getting isolated.

@jonesramsey3757 Even assuming you're right, the US is now isolating itself from its key allies as China seeks to fill the void. Congrats on throwing away your power.
