@lianlol7 If the US has to retreat from a conventional army, like the Iraqi Army, that by itself would be consider humiliating. Russia lost over 50 kilometers of land to Ukraine. UKRAINE.

@lianlol7 Uh, no, using Western troops and entering the war is a massive escalation at least from Putin's POV; the West has to constantly use Putin logic to prevent nuclear war -Russia themselves had no issue sending troops in Western interventions. So basically Putin is an imperialists hypocrite and everyone has to follow his line of logic lest be accused of starting nuclear war by his fanboys across the planet. Want the West to step in? Tell Putin to retract his threat to use nukes if they do.

@lianlol7 That's how its supposed to go -only a threat of an invasion deep into Russia; only the most dire of situations should be when people use the threats of nukes. That's the concept of MAD. But according to Putin logic; this war in Ukraine itself is a war for Russia's existence. He has literally stated that "why do we need a world with Russia not in it?" when other demanded he leave Ukraine at the start of this invasion. Fact is that Putin is a sociopath and nobody in the West can guess what they'll do; which is why they started with slow trickles of aid, then more, and finally to more advanced equipment more recently. A slow burn approach. Idk what you expect the West to do; nobody wants to start a nuclear war but Putin is insane; so the West has to keep that in mind. Meanwhile we have a bunch of Russian commentators in their media constantly talking about nuking the West despite not even joining in the war. Again; you want the West to step in? Tell Putin to retract the nuclear threats. We actually want to live, so throwing nukes around goes against that principle.
