@HaloJumper7 Many groups were "Turkified" and converted with the tip of the blade and other policies that were common amongst US attempts to convert Natives, for example. And yes there were institutional op pre ss ion against many groups. US-Japan internment camps were child's play for much of Ottoman history, especially near the end of it. P o g r o m s became more common since the 20th century to a degree that would make the Anglos seem angelic by contrast.
