@Emilechen Well, the G7 doesn't exist to fight China at all. The US is petitioning for more preparation in case China's ambitions continue to grow, and some are for it while others are not. Despite CCP propaganda, the US doesn't actually control the West, though it has a lot of influence.

@skykid China as an entity has literally engaged in endless war and exploitation. And your comment about "removed myself from the handicap of western national superiority" points to you idealizing another group due to dissatisfaction with your own. The CCP is NOT an entity which should or even could be idealized. It's the same entity that caused the Great Leap Forward, and totalitarianism should NEVER be the apex power on the planet; not when they have an infinitely better way to justify war and bloodshed via internal propaganda machines.

@brucelu4782 Literally every big nation was built on genocide and stolen land, with China only originating on the Huang He River and erased all peoples by either incorporating them into modern China or erasing them from history entirely with only a few remnants remaining. And yes, including stolen land. That's thousands of years of genocidal imperialism, which is about standard for a few nations, tbf. As for "invading countries countries using lies", only 2 countries in the US' history were invaded and justified using lies, not countless. Go back to school. And those "800 military bases" are actually almost all equipment depots or flat-out military bases of other countries that have leased out some parts of it to the US for use if necessary and/or training native forces. In reality no more than 20 bases outside the US have anything more than 100 US soldiers at any single moment. And what wonderful "brainwashing" you speak of when multiple nations consider the US to be the biggest threat of peace. Stellar brainwashing from the mighty West. Meanwhile, many mainlanders such as yourself have a habit of denying state oppression in Xinjiang when it was called out by human rights organizations and NOT Western governments initially, yet people like you conveniently ignore that and conveniently ignore all rejections from the CCP to investigate such claims by such human rights organizations that do NOT have a payroll from the CCP. Wow, it's almost like the CCP has something to hide! Imagine that! Nobody wants a war with China, everyone wants China to stop invading everyone around them; building large military outposts within international waters which are critical to the livelihood of other countries and seeking to dominate them while crying that any attempt to stop this is "bullying". How very dare China's neighbors have a right to self-determination in the 21st century. China isn't wise to anything, it literally revealed its hand decades too early. It pretended to be an innocent nation just trying to become rich, and then revealed its true colors by aggressively pressuring small countries like Lithuania for daring to criticize China or threatening to sink other countries' ships who go into international waters in the South China Sea. The "West" isn't even united on China, so cry me a river in your acting. Or are you just that filled with CCP propaganda that you can't even think for yourself anymore? Do you honestly believe you're in the right to steal territory from other countries?

@ricofok5709 The US has not stolen any resources or treasures in almost a century, dude. Propagandists have claimed as such because a few countries have every reason to try and portray the US in the worst possible light, but nothing ever pointed to that being the truth. The last time the US stole anything was in the 50's with Iran. Uh, to be frank, the West has a right to a moral high ground when they have the support of local nations. And a lot of China's actions are things Western nations haven't done in a century. Stealing lands, committing genocide, economic exploitation. These are old Western imperialist things, and things China did a lot in the past too. But China seems to not have grown up, and is pushing the world against it. It isn't too late for China though. It can change for the better instead of entering a new stage of humiliation. :D

@theylaughatmynickname4860 No one "deserves" respect for the contributions of their ancestors. The present people didn't do crap. And Chinese people don't get respect because they're throwing their power around US allies and thus pissing off their allies. "Westerners are innately racists to the core" West is the only place where multiple races and groups can co-exist at all. This is coming from a Hispanic dude that calls himself an "American" with no issue. I've got friends of all colors. US has got issues to be sure with race, but that's an internal battle that will always continue for a better society. And that's much better than a society that lies to itself like China's has with the CCP. Especially one which mistreats non-Han/non-white people so much. Get rid of the CCP, and respect may come with serious internal reflections. Until then, its hard to respect a people so welcoming of tyranny and bullying of democracies. And, well, yeah. Please stop genociding Uyghurs. That's not very nice.

@tcxnt5442 Yes, the British screwed China unnecessarily. But that doesn't justify torturing diplomats. China deserved the second fucking after that, but didn't deserve the first to be sure. That being said, yeah, an imperialist empire complaining about getting screwed by another is odd to me.

@lakeblackBLM The US only couped nations in the midst of the Cold War against the USSR. The US had to be ruthless then, and it stopped almost immediately after the Cold War ended. Subsequent actions were against dictatorships and were infinitely less frequent. The current US is the standard US, which isn't great, still, to be sure. Current China isn't even a superpower yet, and yet it always tries to steal territories, rob countries of their livelihoods which is not that different from bombing them, justifies cultural genocide and mass surveillance, attempts to utilize economical exploitation via neo-colonialism, etc. And again, it's not even a superpower yet, meaning it will only get worse. Idk how you could think that China being a superpower is a good thing for world stability or peace.

Morales and Marxists like him blame the US for any societal ill in existence, so blames the US for anything and everything. There's literally nothing behind the claim. @ricofok5709 It's a very easy thing to simply point to an external rival and just claim that they're fermenting conflict. The reality in this case is different, China and India's issues have always existed, but China's issues with India coincides with China's more aggressive foreign policy. The fact is that China whittled a LOT of its external good will with its so-called Wolf Warrior Diplomacy. The US was not needed in that regard at all when China was so busy shooting itself in the foot.

I'd suggest using your free media to check varying sources like from trusted international organizations that aren't paid/funded by governments. They're the most trustworthy sources on countries. Suffice it to say, China doesn't have a nice view when it comes to human rights and imperialism. But you'd know that if you cared, I'm sure.

@Clee-os6pv Concentration camps are just places with a large degree of people being constrained, I think. In the case of the US, it has every right to do so since people are illegally entering the US. And no, Reservations are partially independent political entities and its people can and have left whenever they want. Unlike the US, China doesn't have a genocide warning attached to them in the modern era by organizations like HRW. And frankly, the fact that the US even has Reservations for the Native Americans is far more than China has ever done for its non-Han peoples which is has conquered or genocided. So this is not a good comparison.

@karlvan6405 Well, no. The first modern concentration camp was made by Spain or the UK, in crushing the Cuban revolt or during the Boer Wars. The Native Americans being sent to boarding schools is not a concentration camp, and were not skinned; or at least the practice was not at all common. Sterilized was more common, but still not as common either. Also, the Native American population has NOT been almost eliminated, you propagandist. For pete's sakes, I'm descended of one. Why the heck are you making this stuff up? JESUS CHRIST. You're beyond a propagandist now. You're just straight up making stuff up and lying! Guantanamo Bay at MAXIMUM had no more than 800 detainees and was absolutely tiny. It can't fit 1,000,000 people even if it tried! And none of its inhabitants are political prisoners, blacks, or illegal immigrants; they're specifically from the Middle East in the US' wars there. It's weird that you bring up that Native American boarding schools and then ignore the direct parallel to Xinjiang. What's up with that? Like, they're almost exactly the same with the CCP trying to erase cultural practices and boarding people up with fences like a real concentration camp. It'd be more understandable if they came into China illegally and China had to sort them out like the US does at its border, but that's not the case.

@Clee-os6pv It does. The fact that its fighting with the Reservations at all is proof of that. The Reservations occupy a grey area where they're semi-independent, but not totally. Native American Reservations mostly had additional laws to US laws, and are mostly beholden to US laws too. It's complicated, but suffice it to say, if they did not have some independence, the US Gov wouldn't be hemming and hawing about the issue. It'd just do it. So yeah, the US does have moral superiority there. Few other nations give the conquered people some degree of autonomy, after all, right?

You're not God. 2) I did as you asked and saw nothing wrong there. These are not organizations that are forcing Hong Kongers or paying Hong Kongers to revolt; they're supporting the democratic movement by encouraging free speech, unions, addressing human rights, raising awareness, and solidarity. These happen in all democratic circles.

@billh6010 Meritocracy fell roughly for a while, but it has maintained levels of it for decades now. So its hardly "dying really quick". Also, the US' default state is chaos, which is why democracy works so well for it; chaos in a democracy is flexible and can shift policy. Chaos in an autocracy often leads to civil war and immense lack of legitimacy. There has been multiple "chaotic sparks" in the US, and it has held just fine.
