@DERIKTHEGENERAL The West literally never shuts up about criticizing itself, wdym? Literally almost all criticisms that get international news about the West are FROM Westerners lol

@liammarra4003 "Accountability for crimes" only works if someone isn't being protected by a nation-state. Almost all world leaders that have some semblance of influence can be called a war criminal, as it stands; but good luck getting them to an international trial without smashing the country first. In which case, the person that started such a war would also be eligible for the Hague, funny enough.

@R And Americans would support it, since they have never signed or given away the right for the Tribunal to kidnap a US citizen to begin with. It would be a violation of sovereignty, and thus an act of war. And most Americans generally agree with this sentiment. I can understand it, though I don't entirely agree with it.

As soon as the leaders of the Middle East and Far East get jailed, I'm sure they'll get right on that. To be blunt, it's prolly never gonna happen since crimes committed against other peoples by a national leader are far harder to prosecute, not to mention if they don't commit mass murder on purpose. Say what you want about US Leaders, but they do never actually try to incite mass murder, they just support whomever, whether they do terrible things or not.

@mohammadalfrejat8627 Mass murder requires intent and to be done via direct action, and the US didn't literally kill millions; it killed like ten's of thousands of civilians, I think. The War overall took millions, including combatants not from Iraq, but the vast majority of deaths were initiated by terrorist groups taking advantage of the chaos of a fall of a government. "most European leaders" False, most European leaders have relations with Israel, but that's not the same as support. France supported Israel since its inception, but stopped later, switching with the US who was backstabbed by Arab leaders forcing the US to rely on their enemy for a foot in in the region. Arab leaders have been committing more crimes since its inception, in comparison; that doesn't mean their countries don't have a right to exist. If that's what you're getting at.

@DERIKTHEGENERAL Nope, I don't think they will because I think the US generally agrees with the US in foreign policy. Though idk why anyone would need to criticize the US for that drone strike; it's not like the US hid it, or tried to prevent any investigation of it. When the investigation proved that it was a US mistake, it publicly apologized and paid reparations for those affected.
