  3. Turkey has done well, but that's only because it generally had the West to look the other way when it played around. If Russia wasn't so stuck in Ukraine, its adventures would have been cut short in each instance. This is a golden opportunity for Turkey, actually.

  10.  @AA-cj7jo  Very few nations are literal pawns for the Americans. They have their own agendas for the most part, including Turkey which has tried to play Russia off of the US (and got burned). Either way, Turkey's plan in Syria was, at best, complementary to the US', as seen as they also wanted the Kurds gone too. So its safe to give Turkey that W at least.
