That was long after the US bombed most of the major cities to dirt and after the US had crushed most of their major holdings and navy across the Pacific. Unless Ukraine's armies are crushed and Ukraine is beaten back to its last holdings; that will never work. Especially since for Ukraine this is an existential war.

@mattsreptileroom Russia's excuse is so paper thin that they have forced the West to genuinely screw them over now. If they stopped with their annexation of 2014 then everyone would've ignored the issue in Ukraine.

@silent_stalker3687 Most deaths since 2014 are attributed to Russia. Ukraine did not exactly have a military worth anything in the first years of war. It's why they lost Crimea without fighting.

Is this a joke? Russia has faced the worst casualties in a modern war in recent memory. At least in terms of a big state. Seriously we have plenty of news FROM RUSSIANS about the terrible state of their military.

@lisakeitel3957 And how do you know all 750,000 have been deployed, exactly? They were called up for training or placed in active status, but that doesn't mean they were deployed for combat. Let me answer for you; you don't. The worst we can expect from Ukrainian death/casualties is to be around what Russia has felt. Also if Russia lost 60k men, they'd still have over 100k men in Ukraine. Idk why you're acting like they'd have lost long ago if it were true. Stop inhaling Russian copium. Russia is a crippled mafia state and isn't worth the consideration.

@lisakeitel3957 You don't call up 100k men in a draft in an offensive war if you didn't lose tens of thousands of men, genius. Not everyone is as gullible as Kremlinbots. Seriously, I never said that Ukraine didn't have 100k+ men ready to be deployed into combat. I just said not all of them were deployed. Meanwhile Russia had no reason to call up so many men for training if the original 150k men did not suffer horrendous casualties.

Russia literally obliterated most Ukrainian cities. Most Ukrainian cities taken by Russia look like Aleppo rather than Baghdad. Russia cares a lot less than the US about civilian casualties and everyone knows it.

All the wars you listed prove how kind the Americans are in comparison; the war crimes Russia has in Ukraine is a longer list than any you can find in Iraq. @MohammedYASSINE Unlike the US, Russia doesn't allow for international groups to do a count of civilian dead. Also the dead count that the US killed is usually conflated with the overall dead from other groups too. Considering both; the dead in modern US wars is insignificant compared to the death in this singular war per capita. Especially when considering a 10 year war to a 9 month war and how the devastation was similar. Why does it take Russia 9 months to kill as many civilians as the US in 10 years? Hmm? TNT barrels are weaker than modern missiles, wut? And I'll grant you chemical weapons for the Vietnam War, though in actuality it was "herbicidal warfare" which was not covered by the restrictions of chemical warfare. Russia literally has been bombing cities like Mariupol since the start of the war, what are you talking about? Your point makes no sense.

This concerns, for example, Mariupol (Donetsk region), Izium (Kharkiv region), Lysychansk, Popasna, and Sievierodonetsk (Luhansk region), where there are allegations of numerous civilian casualties."~~~~ The death count attributed to Russia is around 6k, or maybe 4k if we're being generous and say that some were killed by Ukraine despite Russia having far more artillery and being far more liberal in using said artillery. It should be noted that this occurs within 8 months and the OHCHR has been unable to corroborate the death count of civilians in small arms fire or even more of Russian territory, as the report admitted. So around 8.2k civilian dead by US forces in Iraq in 2 years, and between 4-6k civilian dead by Russian forces in 8 months which is likely MUCH higher. Yeah, Russia has been a lot worse in this war to civilians than the US has in recent memory. And that's only considering Iraq, Afghanistan had even less civilian deaths from the US while the USSR's invasion of Afghanistan was literally considered an ethnic cleansing at the time. Or Russia's actions in Syria. TLDR; Russia today is a fascist hellhole that kills civilians far more than the US at its worst, especially Muslims. And yet you cheerlead for it? Imagine hating Muslims as much as you do, sheesh.
