@big-anvil The US is many things, but the US cannot be described as a genocidal regime. It has committed ethnic cleansings in its past (as had most governments, really), but never outright genocidal. Especially its modern incarnation.

@PeachesandCream225 Just because you're not being paid by someone or something else, doesn't mean you aren't selling propaganda. You can believe in something and skew things a certain way and be spewing propaganda. Not being paid doesn't mean you aren't a propagandist shill -there are plenty of those. Or do you think every Alt-Right idiot spewing propaganda suddenly aren't propagandists just because they believe their own bile? Only a left-winger can unironically claim "right-wing propaganda bad" and then say nothing about left-wing propaganda. Neither is good; they're both pushing an agenda by ignoring certain truths they don't want to acknowledge...like capitalism being an overall positive development for the world, but needs government restrictions to make the best of it. Not overthrowing for the sake of replacing it with dictatorships.

@nicator8380 You can ask both, and both could claim all they want, but neither could be claimed to have ever been genocided by the US. Well, barring the actions of the state of California -the Iraqi's were defeated and occupied while the Native Americans were defeated and thrown into less favorable land.

@PeachesandCream225 Well, per capita, it's 100% true that capitalism is bringing poor countries out of poverty. This is a statistical fact. The absolute poverty of where people can only survive living day-to-day has decreased universally to levels never seen on Earth. Mind you, they still struggle, but it's true. Inb4 someone mentions "I read somewhere that Americans live day-to-day"! Which is true, but also a lie since most Americans that live like that do so by spending most of their extra spending living too well for themselves. But I digress.

@lynth China has actually arguably more of a genocidal regime than the US is historically. And the US hasn't committed a genocide in recent memory either while we have definitive proof that China is attempting cultural genocide...which IS genocide according to the UN. So yeah. Then why did you listen him in the first place? He literally has a series called "How the US stole -insert country here" while always placing the US solely at fault for whatever crisis and ignoring all other actors. I find it absurd that people immediately screech when China or Europe gets this kind of treatment but the US is fair game to have a literal series of misinformation sound bytes. I thought everyone just rolled with it due to ideology, I didn't think people took it as fact.

@chriswhite3692 Propaganda doesn't have to specify things, it can infer things; and the video clearly infers that WEF is biased/bad and should not be trusted. You are being TOLD what to think and you didn't even question it.

@chriswhite3692 What part of "infer" things do you not understand? You don't need to verbally say something to infer something; his attitude very much inferred the idea that the WEF is not a trustworthy source and anyone whom uses it are themselves untrustworthy. If you willingly choose to ignore this, then that's fine; but don't claim to be a self-thinking person. Because you're intentionally avoiding admitting literal propaganda in spite how obvious he is about it.

@censorthis-uu6cc Ah yes, because people see blatant attempts at conquest after said nation-state viscerally lied about what their pooling hundred thousand men are at the Ukrainian border for months on end would totally not get people's attention. Ukrainians were dying prior to 2022, but the scale difference was massive. Ya'll just flat out attribute everything into "everyone brainwashed to do X".
