@OompaL0ompa Right, because Iranians, Russians, etc., have been held responsible for everything. And Israel was granted under the Mandate system, used to create Syria, Iraq , Lebanon as well, where thousands of Kurds, Assyrians, etc you don't care about, were displaced.

@iruns1246 Diplomacy with a group that has explicitly vowed to destroy Israel and supported with arms, money, several proxies to that effect? Who want to establish a worldwide Califate? If you have better ideas, let's hear them.

@iruns1246 They didn't last I checked. But according to your simplistic view they did and they will only use them for peaceful purposes, despite bankrolling several proxies hell-bent on destroying Israel.

@iruns1246 Though they share the goal of establishing a world Caliphate and destroying Israel in the process. They'll just go about it in their separate ways. Until they both disavow said goals, negotiations shouldn't be an option , in my book. There are 1.8 billion Muslims, many agree and cooperate to the same end as Iran, Isis.

@iruns1246 Like I said, you need a baseline of good faith before diplomacy can have a chance. Iran hasn't shown any such in funding several proxies such as hamas, houthis, hezbollah, all hell-bent in distroying Israel.

@iruns1246 No. I've found sources from Muslims who believe they were being trained to that effect during the Arab Winter in 2011. And evidence of outside funding of such for pro-Palestine( pro-hamas, really) college and otherwise demonstrations. Evidence of such support through mosques, Islamic centers in Europe , elsewhere. The latter has led to several forced expulsions. But I'm sure you're better informed than all police, others who have investigated and concluded such, and harshly restricted Islamic immigration. I don't believe all Iranians nor Muslims support such, but several, enough, do. Evidence is convincing that several college pro-pal demonstrations are astro-turf, with outside funding and organizing, rather than grassroots; that concern for Palestinian civilians is a facade that many gullible types buy into.

@iruns1246 There's a difference between funding proxies to disrupt and funding them to destroy and ultimately kill all Jews worldwide. It's a matter of degree. There was a ceasefire in effect on 6/10/2023. At any rate, I don't believe Israel, Netanyahu are unwilling to negotiate. I presented the reasons for why the claim about the establishment of a Caliphate seems reasonable. Islam in its present form is a backward religion, at least to the effect of the West; specially those countries without oil. They lag way behind in just about every indicator of quality of life.
