@sakurakou2009 It's $3.8 billion, less than 1% of Israel's gdp of $535 trillion. And a good chunk is earmarked to buy US-made weapons. It's a deal that benefits both sides.
1
@erreryhj It's a win-win deal, which requires Israel buy US-made weapons and includes non-compete agreements on weapons. A minor drop in the bucket of Israeli $535 billion gdp.
1
@batuksri It's just $3.8 billion out of Israel's $535 billion economy, and it requires Israel buy US-made weapons. Israel provides intelligence and tests and improves weapons, serves as a base. Israel gives something in return.
1
@Shambles7698 A successful $535 billion economy, while Muslim countries that receive aid are all failures. It's all envy.
1
@fongangamassana6034 They had those freedoms until hamas started attacking Israeli civilians, killing thousands in the process. They brought it on themselves.

@Cyricist001 Germany? Israeli weapons industry is so successful, us aid is tied to non-compete agreements. Anything to take merit away from Israel.
1
@umaiman3576 The $3.8 billion is less than 1% of Israeli $535 billion gdp. Israel, unlike Muslim countries who also receive aid, has prosperous industries in several areas.

@slimesannn It's not free; it requires Israel to use a good chunk to buy US-made weapons. And it's $3.8 billion out of their successful $535 billion gdp. Arab countries have received billions, yet have almost nothing to show for.
1
@Mghernah More envy.
1
@weiminglu5331 So you pray for the most backward types, with nothing to show for since around the 12th century or so.
1
@hellothere1656 Nowhere near that, it's around $3.8 billion. It wouldn't be needed if pre-medieval backward countries wouldn't be attacking them all the time.
1
@umaiman3576 Richer on a per capita basis? I doubt it. Certainly not those without oil, which Israelis dont have. Compare with Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, etc.
