False. You can't just bring this about through money. Let alone the aid totals $3.8 billion ( except during hot wars), trickle compared to Israeli gdp of $550 billion. Let alone aid is earmarked to buy US-made weapons.

More falsehoods. There isnt nor ever been an occupation. These terms have an actual meaning. Occupation happens when the hostile army replaces the authority of those occupied. This isn't taking place here, as the PA is the autonomous government in Area A. Similar for " Stolen Private land". No one questions the nonsense put out, all of course, unreferenced, undocumented, without presenting both sides. Vice is spreading falsehoods.

Heavy-handed? Just what else should Israel do after years of terror attacks against its civilians? Let alone Vice is not much into verifying claims, nor offering both sides. Claims as that of occupation, are false, because the definition of the term just doesn't apply here. Claims about taking land are, at best, detached from their context. Several Palestinians build illegally, or are removed because they host those who have commited terror attacks. Notice how vice doesn't offer the Israeli side.

Palestinians live in squalor because hamas have grafted a few billion and fled to villas in qatar or Turkey, and have chosen to spent $billions obtained from UNRWA building tunnels , using water pipes to build rockets, rather than using the money to help gazan civilians.

@brianstockwood6635 His claims are nonsense. For one, more Germans died in ww2 than Brits or the French. That doesn't imply the Germans were oppressed. Let alone hamas makes no effort whatsoever to protect their civilians, while Israel spends $billions, requiring sirens and shelters. Hamas also spent billions in aid through UNRWA building tunnels , turning water pipes into rockets, rather than using the money to benefit gazans. Several at the top have siphoned aid money into their secret bank accounts. Gazans live in squalor while hamas keeps itself sheltered in the tunnels , where they have access to reliable water, power, food supplies. You hear about starvation, then you see a group of captured hamas ops, rosy-cheeked, with full bellies and man-breasts that could use supplies from Victor's Secret.

@jonnorris8557 By what account, other than the hatchet job presented here does Israel not respect human rights to a much higher degree? Claims of occupation are false, by definition, as the situation does not satisfy it. Essentially, Area A and gaza had their own respretive autonomous governments. Re the land issue, lands in Area A are administered by the PA, and not by Israel. The account by vice is grossly one-sided and selective.

@NateLevin I've never heard of any such. For one, the Idf has admitted to its errors and has disciplined its own. Unlike hamas, who targets civilians. I won't defend everything Idf/Israel does, but they're on different leagues.
