  1.  @jeffwarren7737  Not really. The actual holding of Heller was that the Second Amendment is indeed an individual right. The stuff about regulation is non-binding dicta that Scalia added to get Kennedy on board. Whether or not any gun regulation is acceptable was not the issue at bar and none of the dicta on the topic is not the actual holding of that case.

  4. Gun control doesn't keep guns out of the hands of those who shouldn't have them. Ask a resident of Chicago. What it does is burden the decent people.
