  1. You can't have a reasonable comparison of antiaircraft guns without mentioning ammunition. Specifically the proximity fuse, which was a game changer.

  2.  @MoeZiilla  A gun, any gun, is a system. Ammunition is part of that system. You can't make a comparison by saying "oh, the firing mechanism on this one was marginally better than on that one" while ignoring that one had exponentially more effective ammunition is a fool's errand.
