  2. David Johnson While drunkenness can lead to domestic violence, that it certainly the exception and not the rule. The overwhelming majority of drinking occurs without anyone hitting their wife or doing anything else wrong. Also, "punish everyone for the actions of a few" is a horrible theory of law that's more at home in Nazi Germany or the USSR than here in the US.
