  1. I'm just commenting on the thumbnail here - show the fuckin swastika. Don't sanitize history. You show the rising sun and the hammer and sickle, both symbols of regimes that committed horrendous atrocities and, in the case of the Soviets, murdered far more people than the Nazis ever did (albeit at about the same rate of one million murders per year, over a much longer time period). Context matters. Displaying the swastika (or the hammer and sickle) for political purposes is abhorrent. Censoring the swastika (or the hammer and sickle) in historical contexts is Orwellian. You can't throw things down the memory hole because some stupid and/or oversensitive people might get offended.
