  1. Legionaries would lose all of these. They were soldiers who were trained to fight as a unit, and their training and equipment was not geared towards one on one combat. So yeah, one on one, the legionary would be likely to lose against most other historical warriors. For these who can beat who things, you'd need units. A century against a Viking raid? Interesting. A duel? Not so much.
