  1. I think this is way cooler than HEMA. HEMA is essentially Renaissance-era unarmored fighting, which isn't particularly exciting. I imagine that guys in armor trying to bash each other with weapons is not only more fun, but far more similar to actual medieval combat than HEMA. Is it perfectly accurate? Of course not. Still cool though.
